Nokia C3 Review
The Nokia C3 first caught our eye because of it’s exterior shell and the move away from the standard sleek black handset that appears to be the norm across the board. The handset we saw initially was referred to in Nokias colour scheme chart as bronze but to us looks more like the off gold colour of C3PO in the Star Wars films. (The handset is actually available in three colours, black, bronze and a very fetching vibrant pink)
The C3 is part of Nokias new Core range of handsets and they have left no stone unturned when ensuring the handset contains the essential applications that the modern mobile consumer requires. Nokias new range is designed with affordability in mind without sacrificing the build quality that we have come to expect from them. The rebranding of ranges into initials and numbers is designed to give consumers a key to establishing the phones capabilities and therefore suitability for their requirements. (C3 tells us that the handset is rather low in specification and probably suits the younger user more)

Aimed at the entry level market the phone isnt completely without its own little impressive features which include a full QWERTY keypad, similar to what you would find on an on E Series handset. This QWERTY keypad is simple to use and the keys have enough of a gap between them to allow easy typing. The C3 is simple, convenient and integrates smoothly with instant messaging programmes like Google Talk and OVI Chat.
The handset is designed with easy access to both Facebook and Twitter but users may not be too pleased with the small 2.4″ screen that doesnt make it easy to review your favourite sites in a full screen. With Nokias Messaging suite integrated into the handset there is easy access to your e-mail should you require this option although we are guessing that most users of this handset will be more concerned with the social networking capabilities of it.
Tha Navi key on the handset allows for easy access to your favourite applications and general navigation around the handset.
